The Convert Operation transforms a document from one file format into another — for example ODT → DOCX, XLS → XLSX, or anything → PDF, while keeping the original layout, styling, and content intact. Unlike Parse, which reduces a document to clean Markdown, Convert produces a faithful, fully-formatted copy of the source in the target office format.
- Layout-Preserving: Styles, tables, images, and pagination are carried over to the target format.
- Office-Grade Fidelity: Conversions are driven by a headless LibreOffice engine, the same technology that backs our parsing pipeline.
- Universal PDF Target: Any supported document, spreadsheet, or presentation can be rendered to
PDF.

It will be the conversion Operation of a Job. The only required field is the targetFormat (the format you want the source document converted into).
